DDS-14 Digital FM Modulator

It is a Digital FM Modulator (DDS) which used inside ONAIR brand FM transmitters.

DDS-14 lets you to carry some interfaces throughout the board:

·         RS485, UART, RS232

·         4 GPIO In-Device to Out-device, 2 GPIO In-Device to In-Device.

DDS-14 internal RS232 switcher (I2C controlled) allow the board have multi-directional RS232.

·         P2 <-> DDS Module (controll of dds)

·         DB9 <-> P2 (inner control board to output)

·         DDS module <-> DB9 (serial firmware upgrade of dds module)

Monitor of DDS module over RS232:

·         In level of analog audios and MPX

·         Deviation

·         Modulator temperature.

Control of DDS module over RS232:

·         Frequency

·         RDS parameters

·         Source and modulation type.

·         Pre-Emphasis (linear,50us,75us)

·         Maximum Deviation level (0 to 150 KHz)

·         19KHz and RDS Level (0 to 100 as percentage)

·         Audio input gain (-6 dB to +6dB)

·         External MPX and SCA gain (-6dB to +6dB)

Monitor of DDS-14 over I2C:

·         3v3, 1v8 and 1v0 levels.

Control of DDS-14 over I2C:

·         Change source to external I2S

·         Change direction of RS232
